💡 CASE & MATTER ANALYSIS SQE2 1-1 MOCKS — How Our Mocks Work
🔴 DEFINITION: Case and Matter Analysis (CMA) is the SQE2 written assessment that most directly tests your legal knowledge and professional reasoning. You write to a supervising partner (not a lay client), so the standard is higher: your advice must be accurate, detailed, logically applied, and professionally justified. CMA is assessed across all five areas of law (Business, Dispute Resolution, Property, Criminal, and Wills & Probate) and marked on both legal correctness & completeness and core skills, including identifying relevant facts, client-focused analysis, and the use of clear, acceptable professional language.
Although CMA is a written assessment, we treat it as two connected components for maximum learning:
- Written Submission
→ You complete the mock under timed conditions.→ Your personal tutor marks it in depth, providing detailed comments, corrections, and improvements. - Live Tutor Feedback Call
→ You receive a focused one-to-one review (typically 25 minutes, often slightly longer).→ We reinforce the correct approach, highlight examiner expectations, and ensure you fully understand how to maximise marks in future tasks.
We train real legal analysis using a pragmatic method and proven exam tactics developed over years of QLTS OSCE and SQE2 training. Watch CMA insights from Tristan, who excelled in the SQE2 exam.
