Louise Boder is an English language educator and aspiring solicitor, currently preparing for the SQE with the Academy of Smart Lawyers and planning to sit SQE1 in January 2026. She plays an active role in the Academy’s Legal English course, helping international students build the legal language skills essential for success in the English legal system.
Louise holds a BA in Theology from the London School of Theology, a PGCE in Secondary Education from the University of Birmingham, and a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) from the University of Law. She also earned a Master’s degree in Leadership and Innovation with Distinction from the University of West London. Alongside her academic and teaching credentials, she serves as Director at Newland Control UK.
Known for her scientific mindset and structured approach, Louise contributes analytical and data-driven articles to the Smart Legal Blog. She regularly examines SQE statistics and performance trends, aiming to identify key patterns and propose practical strategies to bridge gaps in preparation and outcomes.
