Tailored SQE 1 To 1 Tutoring by Subject-Matter Solicitors

Because a Criminal Litigator giving you Property Law advice is like asking a surgeon to fix your car. It’s still ‘technical,’ but you probably won’t like the result. We match you with specialists who actually live in their practice area.

Why Our Tutors are Different

We provide high-stakes, specialist coaching powered by the SUPERexam Platform

Subject-Matter Solicitors (No Generalists): We are experts in our respective areas of law who share a common DNA: a natural “internal inclination” to share our expertise.

A Unified Teaching System: Every tutor undergoes rigorous internal training, regular performance checks, and consistent quality controls. This ensures every student receives the same high standard of elite SQE private tutoring.

The SUPERexam LMS: Forget basic video calls. Our proprietary platform is built specifically for the SQE, featuring dedicated digital classrooms, integrated SQE marking, and exclusive private VIP 1-to-1 courses tailored to your success.

Tailored Scalability & Flexibility: Our tutors have either conquered the SQE themselves or were personally trained by those who did. Their advice is current, practical, and highly relevant. We invite you to book a single SQE private class to experience our quality before subscribing.

The Importance of 1-to-1 Tutoring for SQE1

For most candidates, the most effective way to learn is still through direct human interaction. Working with an SQE1 private tutor or engaging in one-to-one SQE1 coaching allows you to understand not only the law, but how to apply it correctly under exam conditions.

A qualified SQE1 FLK tutor can identify your weaknesses quickly, explain complex topics in a way that suits your thinking, and guide you through the nuances that are often missed in self-study. This is particularly important when developing SQE1 exam technique 1-to-1, where small adjustments can significantly improve your performance.

1-to-1 tutoring is also one of the most practical ways to manage preparation alongside a busy schedule. With our VIP approach, we help structure your timeline and ensure consistent progress, adapting the plan around your availability.

However, the key factor is quality. Choosing the right tutor is critical. Lower-cost options may seem attractive, but poor or misaligned guidance can ultimately slow your progress or even lead you in the wrong direction. In this sense, “cheap” support can become more expensive!

For this reason, it is important to choose your SQE1 private tutor carefully – focusing on experience, exam understanding, and the ability to provide targeted, practical guidance.

The Importance of One-to-One SQE2 Tuition

For SQE2, one-to-one coaching is not just helpful — it is often essential.

While legal knowledge can be developed independently (as is often the case for SQE1 multiple-choice preparation), SQE2 is fundamentally different. It is based on simulation-style assessments, which are:

  • Highly time-pressured
  • Task-based and practical
  • Delivered without prompts, options, or guidance
  • Structured in a specific and unfamiliar exam format

This reflects the nature of the objective structured examination, where performance — not just knowledge — is assessed.

In this context, working with a personal SQE2 tutor becomes critical. It is not enough to “know the law”. You must be able to apply it precisely, efficiently, and in the format expected by the examiners.

A strong tutor provides two essential layers of support:

1) Legal Knowledge (Foundation)
As with SQE1, your tutor must have a solid grasp of the law across all practice areas.

2) Exam Technique (Performance Layer)
This is equally important — and often underestimated.
At least 50% of your success in SQE2 depends on exam technique.

This includes:

  • Understanding how to approach each station (interview, advocacy, drafting, research, writing, CMA)
  • Managing time effectively under pressure
  • Structuring answers in line with examiner expectations
  • Demonstrating skills that directly impact SQE2 skills marks

In addition, a competent tutor must clearly understand the distinction between:

  1. Legal correctness (being right in law)
  2. Legal comprehensiveness (covering all relevant issues)

This balance is highly specific to SQE2 and is often where candidates lose marks.

Ultimately, one-to-one SQE2 tuition bridges the gap between knowledge and performance. It trains you not just to understand the law, but to deliver it in the exact way required to pass.
