Being assessed in front of others helped me conquer the nerves early, so by the time I did my mocks and the real SQE2 exam, nothing phased me anymore … The Legal Theatre sessions exposed me to real SQE2 exam pressure before I ever sat a mock…
Performing in front of tutors and other candidates helped build presence of mind — the most important skill for SQE2 — and made the real exam feel far less overwhelming.

Legal Theatre was a turning point. The live practice, combined with detailed feedback, showed me exactly where my weaknesses were — and my strengths. That clarity helped me prioritise my preparation and walk into the real exam calmly and confidently…

When I performed in Legal Theatre®, the question was sent only a couple of hours before. I had no idea what was coming — these scenarios are never repeated from mocks. They are completely new and often set at a higher level…
One issue is intertwined with five others, and sometimes a sixth issue emerges while speaking to the client. I wasn’t prepared for that at all — and that’s exactly why the live simulation is so important. It puts you on the spot, just like the real exam, and shows spectators how unpredictable real scenarios can be. It is extremely helpful.
