What’s Included in All Our Resit Packages?

Each of our three SQE2 resit packages includes a set of core services and materials, ensuring that candidates receive the necessary tools to improve their performance and pass the exam.

SQE2 Results Analysis

Understanding why you failed is the first step to passing. Our results analysis is conducted via a video call, where we ask you to submit all your previous SQE2 results breakdowns. This allows us to pinpoint patterns of mistakes and understand the specific areas where you lost marks. Many candidates believe they failed due to one reason, but after our detailed review, they often realise that their weaknesses lie elsewhere.

Diagnostic SQE2 Mock (2-in-1: Interview + Attendance Note or Case & Matter Analysis)

To ensure an accurate diagnosis of your weaknesses, we include a Diagnostic SQE2 Mock, which combines two key assessments in one: 

• a client interview; and 
• either an Attendance Note (AN) or Case and Matter Analysis (CMA). 

This mock allows us to determine whether your failure was due to legal knowledge gaps, poor structure, time management, or misunderstanding the question requirements.

SQE2 Skills Package (Legal Theatre® and Mocks for Self-Practice)

The SQE2 Skills Package is a fundamental component of all resit packages. It includes 4 live group SQE2 mocks through our Legal Theatre® programme:

• 2 Client Interviews
• 2 Advocacy Assessments

These sessions mirror the real exam environment, allowing candidates to practise under timed conditions and receive immediate tutor feedback. Alongside the live group mocks, we also provide 20 self-practice mocks, which include:

• 3 legal research exercises
• 1 legal writing task with video-recorded feedback
• 16 drafting exercises covering:
  • Forms
  • Agreements
  • Corporate documents
  • Clause drafting or drafting from scratch (a crucial skill often tested in SQE2)

SQE2 legal drafting is particularly important, as candidates may be required to draft key documents and forms relevant to each area of law. Our drafting lectures cover these essential documents, ensuring candidates are well-prepared for what they may encounter in the exam.

Additionally, we provide a “drafting from scratch” lecture, which is crucial as candidates may be asked to draft without a precedent. This requires a strong understanding of formal legal language and document structure, enabling candidates to confidently construct legally sound clauses and provisions.

Live-Streamed SQE2 Group Mocks (Legal Theatre®) – These interactive sessions allow candidates to observe others perform and receive constructive feedback, ensuring that even those who are not directly participating can learn from real-life examples.

Listening to feedback on common mistakes and how to correct them is one of the most effective ways to prepare. You can hear directly from successful SQE2 candidates who benefited from these sessions.

Live-Streamed Sessions: Law Revision, Q&A & Updates

These sessions focus on the most complex and high-risk topics that candidates often struggle with in the exam. Candidates frequently make mistakes on technical legal issues, so these sessions are structured around avoiding common pitfalls.

Candidates are also assessed on the law as it stands, with a cut-off date approximately four months before the exam. We cover law updates in our SQE classes and answer your questions, prioritising those submitted in advance to ensure you get the most relevant and up-to-date guidance.

Special SQE2 Revision Notes

Many candidates think they don’t need additional notes, believing that their SQE1 notes or previous provider’s materials are sufficient. However, our Synopsis Notes offer a unique approach:

• Designed for memorisation, applying proven learning techniques.
• System-based, showing how different legal concepts connect and apply to practical scenarios.
• Condense 25–30 pages of reading into concise, structured summaries that focus on exam-relevant content.
• Highlight common mistakes that candidates often overlook.
